A Customer in just before christmas looking for a very specific engagement ring. Princess cut diamond featuring a Celtic knot in white gold. The design should be feminine but still have a strong structure without claws to catch on things. Nothing he had found in stores looked anything close to what … his girlfriend was hinting at. The clock was ticking. Only two weeks left until christmas. Thats when he found Border City Jewellers.
Our store manager Sharol suggested that he propose with a diamond and a rendered design image of the ring. That way after he proposed his finance would be able to come in and change the design if he happened to be way off base. He chose a beautiful half carat Canadian Diamond. The customer was also impressed that because our Goldsmith alloys his own gold there would be no need to replate the white gold (An issue he was having trouble avoiding with the product at other stores).
The man's fiance loved the ring. She later exclaimed that she didnt know what he had been so worried about. The design he created was exactly what she wanted.
