This lecturn is part of an ensemble of custom liturgical furniture for a retreat center in New York. This piece is also known as an ambo or a pulpit. The top of the Lecturn is adorned in an Olive Ash burl veneer. The legs of the pedestal are hand-sculpted. The edges of the base and top feature hand carved texturing, and the base is fitted with a decorative hand-forged bronze ring. The overall height of the piece is 45 inches
