Historic restoration of Victorian balloon back dining room chair with front leg casters. New leg sawn and carved out of solid 12/4 x 8 inch f.s.c. Honduran mahogany. Rail to leg dowels and seat rail to leg connections redone with floating tenons for added strength and to overcome design flaw that resulted in broken leg and many past repairs.
