This Queen Anne chair was commissioned to match a cherry table and dining set. The front cabriole legs are cut and shaped from 12/4 cherry, the back slat re-sawed from 5/4 cherry and profiled with a draw knife and chisel. The tenons on all chair aprons are reinforced with square pegs. The finish … was an involved process because the effect had to match the patina of the existing furniture.
