A more contemporary rendition of the traditional chess pieces are made from contrasting woods of walnut and maple. The chess board and storage are also made of walnut and maple and the entire set/board has a hand-rubbed oil finish. The crowns on the kings & queens are copper while the bottoms of all pieces are covered with felt.
