This Chess Table is made of Honduran Mahogany with a playing field in Maple and Wenge. The table legs are based upon a French Provincial design I saw many years ago. The gentle arch of the apron and the semi- rounded top give it a more contemporary feel. A game table such as this fits well in a great room/family room or I can custom size it to go in a den or game room. It has a hand rubbed finish that is oil which helps bring out the beauty of the wood, and also gives it a smooth silky feel.
