We had a little trepidation going forward with a custom wood project ordered over the internet. We were replacing a very large entertainment center that had lots of shelves, building a false wall for installing a TV with the electronics hidden in the wall, and wanted to have some nice shelf units to provide some of the shelf space that "went away" when we removed the entertainment center. Our design called for two identical units that would themselves be sunk into the false wall. Generally, one would prefer to work with a company in one's own town so as to have opportunity to see in person examples of other projects completed, "touch and feel' materials being recommended, and be able to stop by during certain steps of the project such as selection of final stains. Mr Garvin Jones of FTC made us very comfortable at the beginning and throughout the project with his very responsive communications. At the beginning he took our very simple design and quickly developed a 3D view of a much better design, then as the project went forward he applied his woodworking expertise to guide us through some decision points such as material selection, the look of the front and frame of the shelves, and color. The results of his fine work now reside in our living room, and we are very happy with these pieces he made. Pix attached. Garvin was a pleasure to work with and got my shelves ready sooner than originally planned for. He sent directions to put it together and was just a phone call away. I would definitely use him again!!

Working on this project with Garvin was a joy from start to finish. We love using our trays - they are better than I imagined because Garvin improved my design idea and did a beautiful job of making them.
