This is an example of a custom piece -- an adaptation of a Japanese brush painting, hand-painted, glazed and fired on ceramic tile. It was framed and hung in a bedroom sitting area, but could have been permanently installed behind a cook-top in a kitchen, or the design expanded and used to fully enclose a tub surround in a bath.
