The term "Comb-Back" refers to the fact the back resembles a hair comb. Somewhat less formal than a Fan Back, it is nonetheless a very striking chair. This chair is shown with a layered Milk paint finish, thin black over red, which allows the red to show. The result is a much more vibrant chair.
