My client needed a simple computer workstation to fit a specific location - at the end of hallway - in their home. The shared family computer is located just outside the bedrooms. This is a case of 'function over form.' The primary requirements were around ergonomic height for keyboard, width & … depth of work surface fitting between doorways & hallway end. Styling was secondary with simple & clean lines.
The desk is made with red oak hardwood and red oak veneered plywood. A dark stain to compliment other nearby furniture and 4 coats of polyurethane for daily use durability complete this piece.
