15 feet long conference table with natural edges. During smoothing, a nail was "found", about 10 years into the plank...kept it in place. Butterfly keys of maple burl and mesquite burl were used to stabilize cracks on the ends and surface. Ends got maple, surface got mesquite. Large cracks were also stabilized with marine epoxy, tinted black.
