This contemporary accent cabinet has a very light-hearted look. Tapering sides coupled with a slight curve and taper on the base provides great visual interest. A taper on the legs provides mass underneath the cabinet while allowing a very fine feel at the floor. Capturing the right grain in the book-matched Bubinga doors draws the eye into the shape of the cabinet. The grain from the curly maple used on the front runs the entire width of the front unifying the opposing shapes on the doors. Butterfly splines add visual interest as well as integrity to the door and base. The case is dovetailed together with through dovetails.
