This is a playful contemporary wall clock that people do not fail to notice when they walk by. The circular clock case is made of intricately constructed mahogany 'bricking'. Brass rods suspended from the case allow the pendulum with its bob to swing through the sides of the case.

The lower case … element is made of bird's-eye maple which complements the darker wood of the top portion. A circular opening allows a quick view of the bob as it passes through the case.

Whimsy has an eight day mechanical clock movement that provides sound on the hour and the quarter hour. The face is stainless steel with brass numbers and distinctive hands.
