Copper cladding is the ultimate maintenance free finish. Left to oxidize naturally it turns a rich brown with green highlights. We also have a wide range of statuary patinas which we can apply. The arched wine cellar door pictured was hand patinated with an oil-rubbed bronzing solution on the … copper clad exterior. The interior is FSC Mahogany hand oiled with 4 coats of eco-friendly Bangkirai oil. We can also produce windows with copper cladding to complement the doors.
The skylight was built from torrified (heat treated) FSC Poplar. Ande Benson dry fits the temporary supports during assembly. The heavy 16 gauge copper was fit and soldered by Kenny our master metal smith. This system is also perfect for copulas, conservatories and greenhouses.
