This job was really quite a bit of fun as we completely transformed the room by adding a custom wood fireplace mantle, a custom corner entertainment center, and a built-in media and storage credenza.

Starting in the corner we designed a beautiful and efficient corner media cabinet to accommodate … a flat panel TV as well as several audio/video components. The electronics were hidden behind the wood doors yet fully operational with the included remote control repeater. They could breath through cut-outs in the back of the furniture that exhausted into the corner void space. In addition, we provided built-in room for a subwoofer, a center channel speaker, media storage, and lighted display; quite a bit of efficiency for a relatively small corner.

To the left of the corner entertainment center we manufactured a custom wood fireplace mantle. The mantle had wide fluted legs, a large detailed crown, and decorative cloverleaf molding. It was a perfect way to carry the look of the wall unit into the fireplace.

The right side of the corner home theater area featured a built-in media credenza and storage cabinet. We provided four full-extension drawers with infinitely adjustable dividers to organize all sizes of media. Flanking each side of the media drawers were a pair of doors to conceal general storage items including board games, records, and accessories. This media credenza made extremely efficient use of an awkward space.

The furniture was constructed out of a fine white maple wood and stained in a fruitwood finish. With all of our custom home theater furniture systems we can stain the furniture in your choice of color or even create a custom color to match something else in the room.

Pricing for projects similar to this really depend on your available wall space and what needs to be organized inside the furniture. The following can be used as very rough guidelines:
