This table is made from a highly figured single piece of Michigan Crab Apple with sch40 brushed steel legs and non-marring rubber feet. At it's widest it is 40″ long x 22″ wide by 17-3/4″ tall and weighs 32lbs. Very sturdy and versatile for home or commercial spaces. Made to still be inspiring and sturdy a century from now.

Michigan Crab Apple is an extremely beautiful wood with it's depth of color variation and durability (35% harder than red oak). Apple trees grow slowly and many are from orchards where the trunks are split low for higher yield and easier harvesting. It is rare to find a piece this size.

I was blessed to have a local contractor who removed this tree from a property and saved this trunk for me. I was excited to cut this into slabs and dry it. When I finished it, I was amazed to find some of the most beautiful grain I've ever seen. It has a unique figure, resembling curl in other species; but with a very unique checker like pattern.
