Crackle Box
CustomMade by Birdie Miller
This was fun......I wanted to make some but very interesting chests that would hold small fun things! Here it is, two draawers in a simple moteif.
The fun part came when I started the finish. I used a lacquer base color, then laid on coat after coat of crackle lacquer. Each coat a different
… color that eith contrasted the previous coat or complimented it. The surprize was that you weren't exactly sure how it would crack.
Eventually the previous cracks (in the finish) would determine where the next coat of paint would crack, and so the different coats of paint out outline in precise detail the previous crack.
I hope that makes sence?! Anyway they were fun to build.

Foyer Cabinet
by Shelley H. Jan 30th 2013
The cabinet fits just perfect. All the little "cut out" details make a huge difference. Everything is so neat and tidy, no plugs or cables showing. We bolted it to the wall right away. It's really great looking, a naturally beautiful & unique piece we will always enjoy. It's so sturdy too. Keep up the good and creative work. Thanks for creating such a cool piece.
