This hand carved artwork is called "Tree of Life" and depicts a deeply carved tree, roots and leaves. Surrounding the tree are four Celtic knots. This artwork is sand carved into 10" wide x 12" tall x 1/4" thick crystal mirror using a multi-stage deep carving process and is signed. The artwork comes with a black base.

The carved mirrors I design are best viewed either back lit with a candle or placed in a window where the sunlight streams through the back of the mirror. The tree will pick up the colors of the objects around it.

I added several pictures to show how the artwork changes with lighting. It is most dramatic at night with a single large candle behind the artwork. The tree will appear to be alive as the candle flickers. This is how I display it in my Gallery.
