This Arts and Crafts/Shaker inspired piece was designed to make the best of some beautiful figured black walnut I had been saving. I was able to work the curves of the piece with the natural curves in the grain of the incredible curly walnut. The interior of the cabinet is African mahogany with its light amber color to contrast the deep colors of the black walnut. It currently has two adjustable shelves, but could easily be fitted with a wine rack if my customer so desires. The piece features a solid poplar dovetailed drawer with hidden under mount ball bearing drawer slides with a nice soft-close feature. The piece is finished with multiple layers of wipe on polyurethane to highlight the figure of the wood and provide maximum protection.

Shipping informationI would be happy to ship my work just about anywhere. However, due to the complexity of preparing furniture for shipping, (building a crate, etc.) and the variety in shipping costs determined by distance, I need to determine shipping costs on an individual basis. I have shipped pieces across the country, so please do not hesitate to ask. I prefer to deliver my work in person, and would be happy to do so for free if the distance is short. For longer distances I try to keep my delivery charges as reasonable as possible. Thank you.
