This Custom Designed Dining Chair is built from purpleheart wood reclaimed from benches at the Capitol Building in Madison, WI, as well as cherry and birdseye maple and features walnut plugs at the main mortise and tenon joinery. The piece is finished in multiple layers of wipe on oil polyurethane to bring out the figure of the wood and provide excellent protection. It was then rubbed out with paste wax to give it a silky smooth finish. Please check out my web site for more photos of this piece.

Shipping informationI would be happy to ship my work just about anywhere. However, due to the complexity of preparing furniture for shipping, (building a crate, etc.) and the variety in shipping costs determined by distance, I need to determine shipping costs on an individual basis. I have shipped pieces across the country, so please do not hesitate to ask. I prefer to deliver my work in person, and would be happy to do so for free if the distance is short. For longer distances I try to keep my delivery charges as reasonable as possible. Thank you.
