The desk is made mostly of solid maple maple and some maple hardwood plywood. The desk is paneled on all sides. The panels are recessed and there is an applied molding detail wrapped around each of the recessed panels. The top is also made of Maple. The drawers are solid maple dovetail drawers with heavy duty full extension drawer tracks. The exterior of the desk is stained a dark wenge finish and it is also protected by a heavy duty two part conversion varnish. The desk has a furniture base molding wrapping around the entire desk.
