We finished an already existing fireplace with thin bricks. We built a custom cherry mantle shelf on for the fire place. The mantle has a simple breast board with colonial crown moulding and solid top. The peices of the mantle are matched and the grain goes around the mantle from left to right. The mantle was stained and poly urethaned on site.
