This custom maple kitchen features inset panel doors and drawer fronts, which are set into traditional beaded face frame cabintes. The custom kitchen is finished in a medium brown with an antique glaze giving the kitchen cabinetry an old world appearance. The custom kitchen island and hood … are finished in a distressed black finsh which add to the period look of the kitchen cabinets. The working kitchen island , which is the central work area of the kitchen , houses both the sink and dishwasher and is in close proximity to both the refrigerator and cooking appliances forming a very functional work area. The display cabinet to the left of the refrigerator adds to the period look of the kitchen. The granite counter tops were done in contsrasting colors which enhances the contrast of the cabinetry, island , and hood. All upper kitchen cabinets are oversized in height, and all lower kitchen cabinetry features easy to access rollout storage. The large maple crowns were used to create a seemless integration with the existing crown mouldings.
