Custom Leather Chaps With Fringe
These custom chaps were hand made from a deer tanned 6oz, top grain cowhide. Ricardo & Leslie designed and cut the pattern from the hide, hand cut the fringe, and assembled the chaps.
Black deer skin over lay at the top of the legs, attached with a buck stitch. Zipper, fringe, and top of chap are saddle stitched with strong sinew. The bottoms are buck stitched with leather lacing. Hand made, hand cut leather belt, any size, is attached by a sinew saddle stitch as well. The entry loops for the belt are double loop stitched with leather lacing. Two Indian head nickel snaps placed at the bottom of each leg for complete closure.
