This mantle is made from solid mahagony. The breast board has about 7" showing with a bead profile on the bottom. The top is a 5/4 thick top with a decorative ogee profile around it. The crown is 4" colonial crown with a custom routed dentil base. The bottom of the mantle shelf is finished off … with 2 carved corbels. The finish on this mantle was out sourced to a finisher who had refinished this customers antique mahogany furniture. The layout and design of this mantle could change to many different profiles, wood species, and finish types desired.
