Custom painting tin tiles as a fireplace backdrop is a multi-step construction and custom painting process. The tin tiles in my photos are 24"x24" which is the perfect size for a fireplace backdrop. I applied numerous layers of underpainting to create the depth. The lower left photo is a process shot to give you an idea of the amount of colors added to achieve the final effect. The the last coat is a finish coat using a zero voc matte finish polyurethane. No chipping, fading or dulling. Easy to clean using a soft vacuum attachment. Looks amazing and adds a super organic style inside any room. This does not have to be attached or even placed near a fireplace--it's wall art and could even be made to hide a refrigerator in a kitchen. It can be a cool bed board, this could embellish a door, it could be an entire wall in a bedroom, office, nightclub. The sky's the limit.
