Update #1 Book Painting
I'm so excited to start this project with you Allison! Attached is a rough sketch of your book painting. I really like the idea of the books hanging as fruit from the branches. I also like the color scheme from the Argentinian flag, since it is such a huge part of your heritage. We can have a bottle of Danelion wine from your favorite book- OR we can have it written in script on the tree? Let me know if you want me to change anything. I'm excited to get started!!!

coming along nicely- the flash gives the blue a bit darker hue- its a bit more like the Argentinian Flag in person...you'll just have to see! I'll upload some more pics as we go! :-)

Update #7 Book tree painting complete!
Hi Allison,
Here is the completed piece! I should have it to you soon. You can see the three names of your favorite books are in the trunk and I gave it a bit of a "Giving Tree"/Shel Silverstein look. I took a bit of creative license and added some clouds and a picnic basket...who wouldn't want to read a book under a blue sky with a picnic and some dandelion wine? :-)
