Update #1 Stamped Design
Hi Eden,
Here's what I did today on the charm.
This will be in 3 parts, since I can't upload too many pictures at once.
I made the primitive type of handmade tool to impress the design. I annealed the metal and stamped a sample on copper.

I sawed the circle out for the sample.

Update #3 Copper Sample Hammered
Here's the sample hammered. I like the way the hammering looks with it.
Please tell me what you think of the way the design came out. Once I have your go ahead, I'll pierce a hole and add a jumpring, so we can see how that will fit.
Thanks,
Mary Lu

Update #6 Copper sample with chain
Good morning,
Here is the copper with a jump ring and shown on a chain. Looks like plenty of room for the jumpring.
If it's okay with you, then I'll make a silver charm in the same way.
Thanks,
Mary Lu

Update #7 silver charm with two finishes
Hello Eden,
Here is the charm in sterling silver, with a thinner jumpring.
First, a note about my poor photography skills. Sterling silver is highly reflective and really hard to photograph. The photo without a patina has yellow gold tones, but that is the light reflecting. In reality, it's ALL the same color silver, there is no gold tone.
The bright reflective surface makes it a little harder to see the design, as well as harder to photograph. That's why the photo with the patina shows the design better.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
Thank you,
Mary Lu

The charm with the dark antiqued patina. There are highlights of silver in person.

It's been a pleasure working with you. I felt like I had a partner in the studio!
