Update #3 Stitching sample

Here is a stitching sample using 2 small pieces of your ties (stained). I'd use gold thread with the gold lining, green thread with the green lining, and red thread with the red lining. Also, please tell me the the following; How about putting the glasses pocket on the inside breast (upper chest)? Do you want that on the left or right? Then the coin and cell phone pockets on the inside lower vest. Again, which pocket would you like on which side? Oh and can you tell me which iphone so that I can get the correct measurements for the pocket?

Update #8 I'm late

Update #9 Lining update

I had the idea to make the pockets with left over pieces of your ties and wanted to show you how the vest will look with the lining (inside and outside).

Look at the edge-detail image. As you can see it doesn't stay very fall even with ironing (caused by thick front and thin lining). I could use the same stitch and thread I used to patchwork the ties on the edge to make is flat. Would that be ok with you?

Update #10 Button Choices

I found the perfect buttons for the red vest.
There are 2 choices for the gold vest, Brown or Vine?
There are 2 choices for the green vest, Vine or Patenia?

Note I can only use the Vine buttons on one vest.

He has 29 dedicated Christmas (or Holiday) style neckties that he attempted to give away this past Holiday 2012. I said, "not so fast Mr.! CustomMade is the solution to turning these awesome ties into vests!!" Now ... I need one vest, or three (3) vests (if you are able) made from these 29 neckties. The Vest image uploaded is just an example to define what a "vest" is making sure I am not assuming everyone knows what a vest is. The two PDFs showing the tie images and close up of the ties are the material for the front of the vest. All necktie labels are to be sewn into one (1) vest - maybe down the middle of the back like a spine of necktie labels. You can add your own at the top, and on the other two vests. One vest can be the BEST vest, and the second the next best, and the third ... well ... do what you can. Pattern(s) to be seamstr
