Hi Alexis & Cort,

Attached you will find the images of the fiddleback maple also known as tiger maple that will arrive to me on the 1st of Oct. along with the ropey cherry. I'm very happy with both of these both for color and the figure in the grain. The elipses will be able to be one piece so no seems in them at all the cherry field that surrounds them in the ropey cherry will need to be two pieces but that will make them bookmatched on each panel. I think this veneer on your pice will be stunning I hope you both feel the same, let me know your thoughts.

Hi Alexis & Cort,

I'm hoping that by now you've received the veneer samples and also hoping you like them. Please let men know. I've attached a revised drawing of the demilune for you both to review, this sometimes happens to me as I get into a project and start to put things together I will see other options that I did not consider. The main things I would like you to look at is the top, I would like to eliminate the wide wood borderI think it looks cleaner and better and there will be less joint lines. I've also added a little champer to the outside edge off the top, it's a detail that I think works nicely with the piece.The last change I would like you to consider is I was making the legs go thru each shelf or different layer and when I wnet back and reviewed Ethan Allen's demilune they keep the shelf or layers which ever you want to call it uninterupted aso I've drawn it that way and I like it better, but I want to make sure that you are both okay with these changes before I put anything together, so please let me know at you convenience.

Attached please find a couple of images of the demilune in progress. We need to figure the hardware soon, because by the end of this coming week I will be ready
for the hardware and I will have the piece done or just about done. Let me know your thoughts, just to let you know the drawer fronts that you see don't have any veneer on them yet they are just the blanks.

Hi Alexis, Attached are a couple other options. I think the flower pendent pull could work, my taste as you will see with the attached pulls is a little less ornate, but that is just my style. You are the one that will live with the piece so it needs to be something that really pleases you. Tell me your thoughts on these.
