Update #1 Stain Samples

Hi Jennifer,
The legs came in today and they are splendid! I pulled the handle off your drawer so I could drop the drawer off at the finishers and found something
that I expected. Take a look at this picture. The original finish on your buffet was a beautiful red Mahogany color! When wood is covered up by a
handle, oxidation and aging doesn't occur and you get what was once the original finish underneath. Your piece would have shellac and not varnish on
it and that's where the color really changes over time. Shellac yellows with age

So my question to you is - do we match the original red finish or do you want to match the aged finish? We can do either, but if we match the original
and you want your buffet to match the desk then, you would probably need to have the buffet refinished. Again, we can do either and if you want to
see for yourself, pop off a handle and take a look!

Let me know and we will have the Mahogany samples ready to ship to you by early next week.
Thanks, Ron

Update #2 Some Handle choices

Hi Jennifer,
Here's a couple new handles I've found. I haven't had time yet to get to all my sources for antique handles but I will. Take a look and see if one
jumps out at you. Just in case I can't find antiques, we will have a head start. All of them compliment the originals well.

Thanks, Ron

Update #3 Stain Selected!

Morning Jennifer,
There should be a letter or number on the back of the samples. So that we are 100% certain (instead of 99%!), what is on the back of the sample you
chose? And also, because Custom Made often changes the order of the pics, is this the handle you like?

I've learned the hard way to double and triple check all these little details so there is no confusion and we get it right. I will still look for the
antique handles but no luck so far. If I find anything, could I text you a picture right then? That way, if you like what you see, I can purchase them
immediately. Antiques aren't like wholesale. When you see something you like, ya gotta buy it right then or sure enough, someone else will. If that's
cool, send me a your number that I can text you.

Talked with my shop manager last night and we are on schedule to have all the materials in and start cutting by the last week of the month if all goes
as planned. You did want the secrete compartment on the right leg side of the desk right? Right when you are sitting at it.

Update #4 Desk update

Hi Jennifer,
Just thought I would give you a quick update. We are on schedule to start crafting your desk next week. There was a delay on the computer cut parts
but we have all the other materials coming in on Monday and the computer parts by Wednesday. I will start taking photos and videos of the process as
we move along. Sorry it seems like nothing is happening but we had several jobs scheduled ahead of the desk. Once we start though, we work only on
your project from start to finish. If all goes as planned, we will have it completed and off to the finish shop by end of next week.

Thanks, Ron

Update #6 First quick photos

Hi Jennifer,
I am working on the full video and it will be great fun, but today was the first day I got to see the desk sitting upright, on it's own with most of
the trim finished. It's like a baby taking its first steps. It is spectacular and truly gave me goosebumps when I saw it come to life! My guys are the
bomb and they know how to rock furniture, LOL!

So here's a couple sneak peaks and I hope to have the video finished by this weekend form parts to ready to ship! We are scheduling it to go to the
finisher early to mid next week and we should be shipping to you the week after as long as the hardware comes in. I am going to use a couple small
matching brass knobs for your pull out trays. They will look great!
Cheers, Ron

Update #8 Ron Corl Design Ltd has sent you a message about your Desk

Hi Jennifer,
The desk was picked up today and is now at the shipper. My photographer is going in tomorrow and doing the final shoot. Here are a couple really bad
shots, through plastic, but you can kind of see the beauty through it. They had it already wrapped when I got there and I didn't want to take the
chance of unwrapping it and then having the truck come and we would have to hurry to get it ready. It will be packaged up much better than this before
it is shipped to you. They do custom molded foam corners and cardboard on the entire desk. Then it's blanket wrapped in the truck I'll send the proper
pics tomorrow as well as the final invoice.

Thanks so much for being patient and giving me the opportunity to design and build this desk for you. I know once you get this desk, it will be a
treasure AND you'll be able to increase your fees based solely on how stately and important you'll look behind it, hehe. If you get to the Supreme
Court, please remember, I'm here for you to help outfit your digs in DC!!!

Update #9 Ron Corl Design Ltd has sent you a message about your Desk

Evening Miss Jennifer,
Here they are! These are unedited for lighting and reflection but my photographer will "extract" these (take them off the cart), fix the reflections,
and put them on a black background. The top isa little "glary" and not quite accurate in these unedited versions but he'll edit it to look correct.
Thefinished pics will be stunning and I'll be proud to add your desk to my portfolio of work.

If all goes as planned, We will ship on Monday or Tuesday morning and I'll give you an idea then when it will actually be delivered. The shippers will
also call you ahead and schedule the delivery at your convenience.
Enjoy!

Update #10 Ron Corl Design Ltd has sent you a message about your Desk

Hi Jennifer,
Here's the completed invoice with the handles & custom finder molding added on. A couple more pics of the desk as well. I'll let you know on Monday
when the desk is shipping. Theshipper will call ahead for to set up the actual delivery day.

If you have any questions now or on delivery day, just let me know. I would say it has been a pleasure doing this project with you but that would be
an understatement. You have been understanding and patient and I can't wait to see a couple pics of you sitting behind this desk.

Thanksso much for giving us this opportunity. It's created quite a buzz here in our little Amish community. It might be the first piece I've designed
that they can really understand the concept, LOL! Its also inspiring a possible new 1940's glam line of furniture for me. I'll keep you posted.
Thanks, Ron
