So this is the final design. Ill be working on the top and the base next week. I am going to order the veneer today as well.

I know we have already delivered the table, but now is a perfect time for a creation story update:

To begin, let me say that this piece was as much of a joy to design and build as it is going to be for you to use. It pushed my creative limits and expanded my arsenal of skills. It incorporated the art of veneering, lacquer finishing and creating a solid wood top to appear as one piece. I am grateful for clients such as yourself that look for the craftsman to also be the designer. While this was my design, I was your input that makes it your own. While in the shop, this piece took center stage and had my full attention. I thoroughly enjoyed this project and look forward to working with you again.
