“I am looking for a kitchen island/bar counter. Important that it serves both purposes - it will fill a key spot in a small apartment: it will have to make up for a general lack of counter/ storage space in the kitchen, but will also be a central piece of the room and should be able to serve a social function (bar/counter/dining space). Also, would be good if it looked nice. I'm generally going for an industrial/vintage look for the other furniture. I'm more concerned with the aesthetic than the age/origin of the items, so the right stain and some choice metal features on the table would suffice (no need to reclaim wood). Ideal dimensions would be about 40" high and 6 feet long, with drawers (at least one slim drawer for cutlery, maybe a few slightly deeper drawers for other items). ”
