Update #2 Andrew's Start
Hi Andrew, just letting you know that I've started your gun cleaning cabinet. I managed to pull the pine for the case and the walnut for the topand drawer/ door fronts.
I did manage to get the pine glued up today, hopefully I'll get to the walnut tomorrow and mill the panels for the case and maybe even start the case. We'll see how it goes. John

Update #4 Friday
Not as far as I'd hoped for the week, I lost power this morning at least twice, gotta love it!
However I did manage to get some parts ran on the cnc and added to your cabinet along with the base trimed. A coat of primer on the case and a few of the door parts trimed .It's coming along , sorry for the picture quality left the camera at home this am.
I'll try to run some moulding tomorrow if I can get away.

Update #5 Saturday's Update
Hi Andrew, I'll attach a couple of pictures to allow you to get an Idea of the size and mounting of the rod rack on the cabinet the top edge is right about 39" from the bottom, the slots are 3/8" wide and 3" long I belive this should be ok, correct?
Also I'll attach pict's of the door/ drawer moulding before paint , managed to find the time today.
And last but not least, a picture of a piece of walnut stained to what I believe is pretty close to the pict's you sent, what do you think? While we're on finishing I believe that the underlaying colors of the distressed paint run from a meduim brown to a natural pine based on your pictures, correct?

Update #9 Glazing update 1
Hope things are improving down there for you and this only brightens your day. I'm attaching a few pict's . First glazing samples and finially one with the door trimmed and mounted.
Let me know on the glazing samples, I'm pretty sure we're on the right track but I'd like your thoughts.
The drawer front is a prototype not what we're using just figured it would give you an idea what it would look like. Also none of the samples have a topcoat so they're still rather dull.
