This is a hand-carved, glazed earthenware sphere. I moved from making smaller spheres to this 8" diameter size to have a larger display presence. As with the smaller spheres I do not repeat patterns exactly but make variations of a design. This finish is a light, pale, yellow- green with a darker celadon green in the cut out areas. The ball sits on a small glass base for stability and can be displayed at any angle.
