The walnut in this set all came from a tree that I noticed from the 101 freeway in Ukiah.It turned out that the City of Ukiah owned the tree and wanted to take it out. I traded them a conference table for the logs.
The curly cherry came from a sawmill in Pennsylvania, Horizon Hardwoods. These guys have figured out how to tell which cherry logs are curly before the log is opened up. The put the curly logs aside and saw them through and through and then email me pictures of the flitches. I choose the ones that I want.
Dimensions
The table is 46 inches wide. Closed it measures 9 feet long. With the addition of two 18 inch leaves it reaches 12 feet in length. The set includes 10 side chairs and 2 arm chairs. The sideboard is 7 feet long, 18 inches deep and 48 inches tall.
Shipping information I have stated $1000.00 for shipping, but the actual shipping cost cannot be determined until I know the destination. This set is currently in storage, but we can arrange viewings. We are willing to break this set up and sell parts of it.
