Close collaboration between the client and Wiese Furniture Design resulted in this gorgeous dining table constructed in solid cherry and cherry veneers and madrone burl veneers. When closed the base becomes a graceful tulip shaped support and, when opened to its full 108" length, the base stands on its own as two separate sculptural elements. Designed to be a transitional piece in a home of traditional and Art Deco influences, it fulfills its role elegantly and dramatically.
