This table was designed and build for a large family. It is their family kitchen table. The wanted something that would mature with time and become a family treasure. I know the family and I know the used this table every with their family, it will hold many memories for them. The trestle base has wedged mortice & tennon joints for strength and so it can be taken apart for shipping. The top is one board, 12 ft long, 42 inches wide and 3 inches thick.
