Custom Logo & Custom Lighting
We worked closely with the creative owners of this beautiful wine bar to come up with a design build custom logo, and lighting for their space.
The logo letters db are outlined in wine barrel rings and then we fused (melted) wine bottles together to fill the letters in. The large 5' round top background is solid oak made to look like a large barrel top that has been aged using several techniques and then sealed with a hand rubbed wax finish. The metal words "DOUBLE BARREL" are also aged and sealed. The final step we did which was probably the most fun was to add LED lighting behind the glassed in db and the around the back of the round top which came with a remote and changes to about 30 different colors at different speeds. The whole thing spans about 18'.
The pendant bouquet lighting over the bar consist of 5 clear bottles. Each bottle contains an old Edison filament light bulb in them. These are great lighting features for this space.
The wine bottle chandelier is made of an old French antique riddling rack with multiple bottle colors (non labeled) hanging at random heights. This old world look fit their space perfectly and is a great conversational piece for their customers.
