This eL Welker e-L Series Guitar features my exclusive, art deco style, naturally tanned leather, from the last tannery in the USA to do vegetable tanning. 24.75 inch scale. It also features my in house designed pearl mosaic inlay on the rosewood fretboard. The finger rest is made of two … natural phenolic rods in a leather covered lacewood holder. These can be "plucked" bass drum and snare style, useful for conveying an idea to your drummer, or if you're coordinated enough, to self accompany during that solo gig. Phenolic rods are also used in the custom tailpiece which helps soften those wild tailpiece harmonics. The ebony tone and volume knobs are like everything else made at eL Welker Guitars, hand made and custom built. This e-L Series guitar boasts a single Venetian cutaway on a laminated poplar body with a single X brace, covered in naturally tanned leather, attached to a one-piece, French polished mahogany neck.
