One of my clients came in with this beautiful emerald cut aquamarine stone. She wanted a white gold ring and asked that I come up with a design. Rather than put the typical clear diamonds around the stone I chose to use both black and clear bead set diamonds to set off the aquamarine. This introduced an art deco feel to the ring. I also opened up the side of the band with a rectangular shape to emphasize the art deco look of this ring.
