End Grain Butcher Block Desk Top
"Pixelated" patchwork butcher block top, from local black walnut and northern curly rock maple.
This end grain top was custom made as a desk top for a client whose boyfriend works in the blogging industry. Finished in many, many coats of hand-rubbed polyurethane since this was not intended as a food prep surface.
Price depends on wood type and dimensions. Top pictured measures 54" long x 16" wide x 1.5" thick.
Any butcher block top intended for chopping is treated instead with my own handmade block sauce, consisting primarily of premium quality food grade mineral oil and locally-sourced beeswax.
