I dream of a plush life is inscribed on the cup. This small cup fits within a soft saucer, or pillow. It is the perfect size to have a nice cup of espresso and dream of how great things could be.

The cup and pillow were slip cast from plaster molds that were made by me.

Sgraffito, the … carving technique, involves painting onto the clay body and then scratching the painted surface away to reveal the porcelain underneath. It is a time consuming process that only the obsessive would pursue with love.

The plush pillow is enhanced with gold luster and there are small spots of gold luster on the cup. The inside of the cup is glazed and the center of the pillow is glazed and food safe.

I suggest hand washing. Even though the pieces are slip cast, each one is a bit different in shape. The surface is impossible to reproduce. Expect each piece to be unique.
