Cad Cast Pendant

This piece was proposed by a client I met at a local winery. He first purchased one of our loose opals which we had for sale. A few weeks later, he asked me about creating this custom piece based on a few pictures of similar pendants.
This pendant was designed on the computer. I was able to
… show the customer a rendering of exactly what the finished piece would look like before they committed to having it made.
Then the computer model was printed in wax by a specialized printer, and then a mold was made. The mold was used to cast the pendant in sterling silver.
I then finished and polished the pendant by hand. The back and sides of the rays have a polished finish and the top is brushed. The stone was then set in the bezel.
If you like to see your projects come to life before you order than this is a god option for you. CAD Casting is more expensive than hand made work, but it will give you exactly what you want the first time.

Austin was fantastic. Always quick to respond to my messages, and the project as a whole was completed in was less time than I thought it would. He was very supportive of the ideas I had for the project, while at the same time inputting his touch as a designer and artist. Once complete, the item shipped fast, and the whole project came in under my budget, where other designers had more than doubled it. The ring he made turned out better than I could have hoped. I'm satisfied, the lady is satisfied, and you will be too.

Working with Austin was a breeze. I came in not knowing exactly what I wanted but he gave me a design to look at right away. We did end up trying a few different designs but ended up deciding to go with the original one. His level of communication was great, and my fiancee loves the ring!
