This ring is one of four rings made for the Fairy Tale series where we made jewelry for all the main characters. This is the Fairy Godmother's Ring, strong but soft and sweet. Light radiates through the carved opal surrounding the 3ct pink sapphire. The gold element is started life as a sensing … chip for a CRT scanner. It was a prototype developed by the company who sponsored the Fairy Tale project. The CRT prototype did not work as expected and the company gave us the prototypes to use in the project. 40 of these discs were developed at a cost of $3,000,000. making the disc far more expensive than the 3ct Sapphire. This is truly a one-of-a-kind object.
