We love our piece because it incorporates functional space perfectly with a sense of humor. The use of odd bits and pieces in surprising places, and the colors of her design reflect a sense of whimsy which is a unique quality of the artist Laura Silber.
A classically proportioned kitchen hutch we built for a renovated 1910 farmhouse. Height was kept low to fit snugly under the low ceilings/beams. All reclaimed wood & antique hardware. Gorgeous piece. Homeowners had seen a similar sample piece we did early in the renovation process and fell in love with the look -- they decided to define the look of the kitchen around this hutch. We wound up also doing the built-ins on the opposite wall to complement.
