Faux Spider Trapped In Amber

Okay, it doesn't really look like amber and that isn't a real spider but it was the effect I was going after. This was achieved as a result of exploiting the "problem" with 3D printing techniques. One method of printing objects means that anything hollow has to have an escape hole for excess material to escape. If there is no hole the material is trapped. Knowing this, I modelled a hollow spider inside a solid oval pendant and the result is a very unique piece of jewellery.

Absolutely fantastic! Not only was the pendant exactly what I was hoping for, but I even got it earlier than I had anticipated! The work is gorgeous and despite how delicate the pendant looks, I can tell it's quite strong. Everyone that's seen it has commented on how nice it looks. Great communication and the craftsmanship is fantastic!

I'm very happy with my pendant. My pendant may have been simple enough to do but Glenn was very proffessional. The value is great and considering i put my project on just before the holidays, the delivery time was very good. Thank you so much Glenn!! i will think of you first if i ever want a custom piece of jewellery again.
