Fire & Ice Studio creates fine art as well as architectural glass. Here are just a few examples of some of our work that is non-functional. When glass is not carved too deeply, it can also be used to create one of a kind hand prints from the original work. Our studio has some of these from past work, and some commissioned work can have this extra dimension to go along with the art itself.
The three arenas Deborah Goldhaft tends to work in are Anthropological oriented imagery, The Natural World, and Geometric. She works with layering patterns, sometimes using up to three layers of carving on each side of a piece of glass, giving it six total layers of depth. This creates a singular feeling of three dimensionality that is unique to this artist.
Any of the samples of my work can be extrapolated into architectural work, these are the images I like to play with on my own time.
Dimensions: Various, depending on the work.
