• This beautiful mirror makes a great addition to any room. The mirror can either be floor mounted with its anti-skid strip on the bottom of the frame or it can be wall mounted as a full length mirror - your choice at order entry.

• The 4 1/2 inch … wide frame is built with reclaimed red oak barnwood from a historically significant 1910 Tennessee Walker Horse barn. The very natural and obvious antiquity of the wood is not only eco friendly - but it makes a great addition to your "green furniture" collection. The mirror has been finished in a chocolate brown finish - which is a medium brown depth paste wax. The finish on this mirror can be customized to match any decor. Rough edges have been carefully sanded back to reveal sawmarks and distress from years of use. A three step finishing process is applied, the last step being a hand rubbed paste wax that adds a warm and lustrous gleam and a silky, smooth feel. takes it to the next level with a little bit of gloss.

• The piece is constructed by joining the mitered 4-1/2" wide x full 1" thick frame with pocket hole screws (very sturdy), insetting the mirror into a notch (rabbit), gluing the mirror in place, and then adding a 1/4" plywood backing. [The mirror can also be ordered with a horizontal / landscape orientation].

• If you are concerned about hanging this large of a mirror ... we will send you separately a strong, simple wall hanging system - the Hangman Wall-DogTM Hanger. This system is easily installed with only a Phillips head screwdriver and it consists of an aluminum hanger that is attached to the wall by a special Wall-DogTM screw (mounting instructions included). So, no fuss about finding the centerline of your wall studs - just screw in this hanger and drape the frame's mirror wire over it and you're good to go.
