This client captured a beautiful photo and wanted to preserve the image as a non-permanent backsplash above her kitchen's cooktop range. We hand-cut and glazed each and every individual tile to capture the essence of the photograph. We then utilized our patent pending tile veneer process to … apply the tile to a super lightweight structure and 'wrapped' the tile edges around the substrate giving the illusion of a heavy solid grouping of mosaic tiles held together with just the grout.
The result was this beautiful mosaic which looks a lot more like glass than tile due to the special texturing technique we applied to the tiles before firing them.
